In spite of their occasional sour disposition, they were kind to me, and they treated me with love and with the utmost affection. In their own way, they strived to prepare me for the adversities, they believed that life had in store for me, as well as for the harsh times that they were convinced lay waiting ahead.
From my aunties, I must admit, I received an exhaustive and extensively detailed education. They taught me to be aware of the impressively scarce fortitudes that men had to offer (at least, from their own personal point of view, if not by experience). Together, we conducted a profound and detailed study, and delved into the numerous and assorted weaknesses, as well as the inevitable pitfalls that fundamentally has formed the core, of the opposite sex’s true human nature.
In their acute and heartfelt wisdom, they also taught me to understand the underlying reasons why the innate propensity towards vice and sin, is a given characteristic of the male counterpart, in the human species. Though I loved my aunts dearly, I soon acquired the necessary skills to make myself rapidly and effectively scarce, the moment I detected they were about to elaborate on the topic.
