“So, the last question comes from my mentioning who we Paisas are, am I right? Let’s see if this clears it up. I’m not from Medellin, but I am a Paisa, down into my bones, by the Sacred Virgin!”
When he saw his expression, Jon Jairo couldn’t help his loud and enthusiastic laughter.

“Excuse me, sometimes I sorta forget that you’re not from these parts. Take it easy, my Man. Don’t work yourself up. You might get indigestion from your little lunch, you know? Look, let me give it another go, and it’ll dawn on you, alright? Talking about the dawn, it doesn’t matter how early you rise, the sun just doesn’t come out sooner. Let’s find ourselves somewhere to sit, and I’ll explain. How’s that?

Jean Marie was certainly feeling somewhat heavy, and his stomach seemed to be still overloaded, Without giving it more thought, he gladly accepted the suggestion to rest in the shade. They found themselves a bench in the center of the park. While they were at it, his mind began to wander. It seemed that he couldn’t stop thinking about taking a quiet nap somewhere to help ease his digestion.

“I could leave that coffee for later, perhaps for tomorrow, or maybe even for next year… it would best if I wait a while for my lunch to settle from my stomach to my feet.” He drowsily reflected.

Peacefully seated and comfortably settled in, under the fresh shade of a leafy, verdant tree, Jon Jairo began to quietly talk about the lands to the south of Medellin.
