“Talking about sleep and staying up all night, Don Victor. Can you tell me where to find a good coffee?” Jean Marie steered the conversation to less stressful topics, while he tried to cover up a yawn that was doing its best to come out of his mouth. The warm weather was getting to him, and he was beginning to feel a little drowsy.

“Sure, I’ll be happy to do so! Do you know where the Cultural Center house is? It’s very near to us.”

“The Cultural Center? No, can’t say that I do. Do you think that I could find myself a nice tintico there?

Victor Hugo chuckled with amusement and answered: “Right next door to it. There you will find a café where you may try an exquisite cup of coffee, of the very best you can find in this coffee land. They know how to prepare coffee perfectly well. The name of the place is Danilo’s Café. That’s also the name of the owner, by the way. If you like espresso or cappuccino, you can find one there. To sum it up, they have all kinds of coffee beverages and teas and aromatics. Anything you order is more than just good!”

“Now, at the Cultural Center, you can find a library. They, too, have a museum; it’s a great place to spend some time and enjoy the Pre-Colombian artifacts they have on exhibit. Additionally, the house is impressive and very charming! You’ll find various expos and activities in the house’s rooms.” People go there, among other things, to play table-tennis and chess. In the patio, we have an outdoor chessboard with chess pieces that measure over a meter in height! You see, in town, we have extraordinary chess players, some of them quite young, almost kids. There are other activities like music, painting… in short, it’s a very complete cultural spot and offers a range of things to do, learn, or practice. I highly recommend it; it’s well worth visiting. Besides, you must also visit the Botanical Gardens. They’re nearby too, just a short walk. They offer shady, cool, landscaped gardens with a wide variety of local plants.”
