Caught up in himself and his vision, he wandered through those far-flung grounds, where the gargantuan Andean Range is finally torn apart, after relentlessly having breached the vast continental extension that could be traced back to the far-flung Patagonian lands in the southern tip of the continent. It is here, at this point, where the mountain chain is fractured and split apart with colossal and unimaginable violence. In its place, it now gives way to the three majestic Andean Ranges, so entirely representative of the rugged Colombian landscape. Each one of these will reach out to the heights son unsurpassable as those of its mammoth progenitor of whom they are the true successors. These were the intense experiences that he admired caught in his chimerical illusion and that had so completely taken him in.

The three cordilleras formed two immense valleys in-between them and to both sides of the Central Range. In those massive gorges, the water of the tumultuous River Cauca flowed on the western side and the Magdalena River on its eastern counterpart. Those two imposing rivers would scour, like a pair of snakes, uncoiling and extending to almost the totality of the country, each pouring down its gigantic riverbed and separated from each other by the majestic Central Cordillera.

In his dream, now tinged with a pinch of romanticism, the two rivers followed their own way. Still, like lovers inflamed by stirring passion, they searched each other out desperately. Overwhelmingly, they will each keep their own course, snaking withering in parts and slowly meandering, invariably bearing to the North, until finally mixing their waters brought about by such a long journey. And for the briefest of moments, they will careen unto each ecstatic other, to blend into one final kiss, as long as sweet. That is how intermingled and one, they slowly continue their last leg of the long journey, hand in hand and indistinguishable, to ultimately reach the warm, tropical lands of the Colombian Caribbean seas that await their arrival.
