Jean Marie abruptly reacted coming down from the daydream he had been caught up in. He stretched lazily and gave up on trying to capture all the rich details de had viewed, deciding to start the first draft. This is how the traveling artist opted out on choosing that noble house in the back of the panorama. He had definitely chosen the residence with the doors, balconies, and windows painted in striking blue and the interior designs in bold yellow. This house was found on the opposite corner of the plaza and also displayed tables on the street’s sidewalk, of course, the tables also had large umbrellas to filter out that intense sunlight that hit the town during the mornings.

While the breakfast arrived, he was able to finish a draft of his first drawing. When he turned towards the interior of the restaurant, he saw his breakfast, ready, served, and waiting at his table. Jean Marie’s eyes opened as wide as they could go when he saw the humongous cup and saucer with his hot chocolate!
“I have to admit, there’s no way about it. This chocolate is simply as good as it gets…,” he remarked to himself, slowly relishing each sip of his hot beverage, so full of rich, authentic flavors.

Tremendously satisfied, he went downstairs to the outdoor tables on the sidewalk. Even though the breakfast had been quite substantial, there was still a bit of room for that coffee he had been waiting for since he left Medellin City. A man with a chequered blue shirt seemed to keep himself to one side of the tables. He was carrying a small shoe-shine box.

“And why not?” Jean Marie asked himself. So he settled back in his chair and proceeded to observe the gradual transformation of his shoes, which at the time, required careful attention to their neglected conditions. When the man finished, he contemplated his shiny and perfectly well-done shoes and exclaimed:
“My God, if I were like my shoes, this man could rejuvenate me by a few years, and even make me look as good as my shoes now look!”
