History repeats itself once again

     Perhaps it was the taste of the corn arepas, could have been hearing the typical Colombian accent after so many years! Maybe it was the Destiny written en Diego’s Skies. The fact is that the moment arrived, and they settled down in Barichara.

     That was how, so many years after, Carito would invite Dora’s friends to visit the farm on the weekends. She would extend that invitation to Juanita and Lina Marcela, and she would teach the three to ride horses, to climb the tallest trees and to live life to the fullest. They would be caught fascinated as they listened to their Uncle and Aunt tell the stories of the enchanted and wonderful world of the Garcia Brothers’ Circus, taking those stories to their pillows and turning them into the sweetest dreams.

     How many times do the stories repeat themselves once more? They merely change the names, the dates and possibly, some other minor details, but the essential story lives on and happens one more time. That was how, the little Dora, as the years went by, turned into the young Dora.
