     The sheer silence was highlighted only by the steady beat of a drum, brusquely interrupted the moment that Mariana leaped from her trapeze, turning in the air until her hands were caught by Odin’s up high!

     That was the precise moment as if they were merged into one when both the audience and the band released the pent-up energy that had almost overwhelmed them. The audience, on the one hand, finally letting out, in a single go, their collectively built-up stress and contained anxiety, nervously watching the daring performers risk their necks high above them. While on the other hand, the band proclaimed their joyful, melodious ear-splintering outburst at the happy conclusion of it all, both parts concurring in the brief instant in which the trapeze fliers safely touched the ground, landing harmlessly in their respective launching sites and bowing to the crowds down below.

     The act continued for fifteen more of those undying moments. During each of those, Oscar and all the rest of the night’s attendants could not take their eyes and attention from those unreachable heights, below the bright yellow big-top with the broad deep-blue wide bands, stretching like the sky itself into Infinity.

     Without, even the chance, a brief reprieve, the night went on, and once more, Oscar appeared in the center of the central ring, his silhouette gently bathed in the spotlights. It was time to present the final, closing act of that most extraordinary night:
“Ladies and Gentlemen! We are honored to present for your entertainment, our main attraction, never before, seen in Arequipa City. For you, tonight, we are proud to present our most brilliant star, the one and only, the incomparable and most beautiful Carito Marroqui and La Relincha, her trusty steed, and companion through the years…!”
