“From Columbia? How can that be?”, he inquired, frankly intrigued by the fact that more Colombians were working in the circus, but equally gratified by this news.

“Yeah man, they’re originally from Cali City. The older sister is going to be your number one customer. She’s the one that’s in charge of all the programs that have anything to do with the horses. Besides, she’s our best rider! If you only knew how the horses adore her. She knows how to talk to them… Together with Oswaldo, and between them, they take care of planning and setting up all the horse show and all the training programs for our horses. This is the heart of the night’s show,” he replied while paying the bill.

“Chabelita, Oswaldo’s wife, discovered them one morning when we were getting ready to open in Bogota, back there, in your country,” Gabriel continued, “that was the discovery of the century for our kind of business. Look, man, these girls have circus blood pouring down through their veins.”

Animated, Oswaldo interrupted the flow of the conversation adding: “That morning, I was with Gabriel and Jeronimo checking out all the pending details, for we had an opening night right before us. Then, Chabelita comes running in breathless and says: “Come with me, Oswa. You’re not gonna believe this! This one, you have to see to believe, my love!”
