Two days after, they found themselves in the city of Arequipa, in the south of Peru, where his brothers were busy setting up the circus that had just arrived from Cusco City. Two days after, Oscar, had found his destiny, and most importantly, his place in the world. In barely two days, Oscar had found the reason behind so many miles of travel that he had endured.

Gabriel hadn’t exaggerated when he described the circus. The equestrian part of the family consisted of forty-three horses. Each one of them was categorically majestic and the dignified representatives of their true species. Also, like in most of the other circuses that traveled the beaten roads, there were clowns, trapeze artists, the strongman, and the bearded woman. In the midst of this lay the heart of the show, and it consisted of the most fantastic exhibition with the horses, extraordinarily well done and with an on-scene production that could be considered virtually indescribable.

If Oscar had felt himself at home and comfortable in Gabriel’s presence, as it happened, he was immediately taken in with his brothers, Oswaldo and Geronimo. From the first moment, as if he finally belonged to his new-found family. Of course, Oscar couldn’t believe how lucky he was and was bursting at his seams with happiness.
