What didn’t happen in a year, happened in a while… just like our life
“Hey Papa, that thing about growing, I don´t feel like a child anymore, how long does that take?”
“Well, that’s stuff is on its way, now. Very soon, very soon, son, you’ll see. Getting up earlier doesn’t make the sun rise sooner, son. Look, you keep yourself together. If the cows learned how to give milk on their own, why you’ll learn to get up in time and receive it, on your own too. Remember boy, what didn’t happen in a year, can happen in a while, and all of a sudden, that while has come and gone, just like our life.”
In the chicken coup, they always kept around fifteen egg-laying-hens; there was also an old rooster, who still felt he was young and in charge; also, they had a couple of young roosters who wanted to take over, though the rooster still kept his own. Also, there were a capricious amount of chickens. Sometimes more, and on occasion less, all depending on the situation.
